Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: July 19, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") governs your use of the OpsGate service (the "Service") operated by Cyber Eclipse and is incorporated into, and forms part of, the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
1. Authorized use only
You may use the Service only on websites and systems that you own or are lawfully authorized to administer and assess. You must not use the Service to scan, probe, test, or assess any system for which you do not hold proper authorization.
2. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, to other users' accounts, or to any system or network;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with entitlement controls, rate limits, or security features of the Service;
- use the Service to transmit malicious code, or to conduct denial-of-service or other disruptive activity;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- resell, sublicense, or make the Service available to third parties except as expressly permitted by your Plan;
- use automated means to place undue load on the Service beyond documented limits.
3. Customer responsibility
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for ensuring that your use, and the use by anyone you authorize, complies with this Policy.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this Policy and may suspend or terminate access, in accordance with the Terms of Service, where a violation creates risk or liability for us or others.
5. Reporting
Suspected misuse of the Service or security issues may be reported to security@opsgate.ca.
